Nah I dont use them, never really felt a differnece
Rodney
my board's high enough as it is, i don't need or want them.
Garibaldy
Never use them, theres no need
_thom_
this should be made into a poll..

my answer is no riser.. i hate skating with them, when you start out you feel like you need them, but after time we all realise they are pointless
Trix
I use them for the sake that I have them.
Myk
I can't remmember
Overseer
i have two sets, and two boards and have removed them from both smile.gif

Can someone tell me what difference it makes if your using risers and if your not? I always use them cause I don't like wheelbite but is there a noticable difference without them?
Mikeyfish
I never really feel a difference but i useually have them anyway. I like having a nice turning pivot without wheelbite. Plus i dont like seeing my skateyboard get all grazed and injured.
Becky
I use them generally I still get wheel bite but I don't like the feel of my board without them it feels all rattly
junk shop loz
I like the softer feel you get with risers.

I prefer too use risers for 1 reason, and thats not because it gives u more hieght. As i try a lot of big drops i tend 2 go through boards quite quickly,i u use a riser it can take away sum of the force from big drops from the bolt area. I didnt used to use risers and i used 2 get massive cracks then it would break happy.gif
!!TONY!!
Risers give you more pop when you thirst start boarding but once your legs get stronger you shouldnt need them ive been boarding for nearly two years so i dont use them anymore
tablespoon
NO cant be arsed putting them on though i have some
goskate
i use em...jus for the simple fact that the cusion the landin of stuff...preventin presure cracks around the bolts...simple as! haha they do fuck all for pop an shit tho kids! an if u want your board higher off the floor....buy taller trucks!?!?

Death Wheels hasn't he? I saw him the other night and he showed them to me.

I need new wheels, but mine always wear down in like a week and i think fuck buying new wheels.
almostsk8er719
never use em' hardly
Nevermore
used to use risers, everything was a lot more cushy that without and the board sounded different but i prefer not using them - kinda feels more raw
Tim
I have tensor lows and 48mil wheels, I like my board being low. I like my board and wheels to feel hard. I've never snapped a deck. For these reasons I don't use risers.
deviant
they were used on old skool set ups to stop wheels rubbing the board, decks also had wheel wells sanded in the right places to also help stop rubbage, no need on newer decks as wheels are tiny nowadays
LoopeyLou
personally ive always used risers i prefer them and prefer my board to last that extra bit longer so i choose to use them.

tensor lows arnt actually lower are they? the axle is a little lower than the mids one is but the base on the lows are thicker basically is it not just the same height sept strogner?

I think there a wast of time. They make u abit higehr woop de do.
Edwin
i like the fact that with risers there is a lack of cracks apperaring on yer deck
