I got a new deck (plan B) and new trucks (silver) today for xmas and i have put it all together but when i stand on the board the tail makes a cracking sound but there are no cracks on it. Does this happen with new boards and does anyone know why this is happening?
huh.gif

it doesnt normally happen.. are you sure the noise isnt coming from the new truck rubbers? as that does happen until they're worn in.. also.. u didnt do the truck bolts up too tight did ya?
Ash.W
It is definately the deck and i checked the bolts they are ok

Overseer

This happened to me once, it was the trucks...
i undid the bolts and put them back on and it stopped smile.gif

This is probably the truck bushings or the hardware. Your board will not make a constant cracking sound, because that is nto possible unless it is cracking all the time (which you would notice). Check your trucks. It's not your board, so don't worry about it really. But like diaboli said, just take off the trucks, check everything, pop em back on.

Its the bushings on your trucks for sure, its quite common for them to creak. Dont worry about it, it stops once they have worn in and you dont really notice when your riding the board.

My trucks (not that new) made an crazly loud creak noise. But i found it was the part of the trucks were the metal ball thing goes into rubbing against the rubber. I put a tiny bit of skate lube into the hole and the creak went. I know this may have been stupid idea but it works if u re-lube it every so often and it hasnt affected there performance at all.
Ash.W
I skated it a couple times and the noise went
