Hey,
Does anyone know what the name is for the distance of the mounting holes? I don't mean the wheelbase, just the distance between the four holes.
Sometimes the distance is 2.1inchs and sometimes is 2.5inchs, as far as I know

Thanks

I don't think there's a name as such other than old school (wider) and new school (smaller) baseplate hardware mounting pattern.

Ah right,
so if I was to buy a new deck, is there a way of telling if it is wider or smaller?

btw thanks for the reply.

Unless it's an older deck or a pool/freestyle/longboard, it will have the newer mounting pattern. So the holes will be closer together. Put a base plate on top of the board and if the holes match up, it will have the newer pattern.
