Cleaning bearings

Skate Bearings1. You will need:

1x Small tub
1x Old Toothbrush
1x Hairdryer
1x Kitchen tissue roll
1x Bottle of washing up liquid
1x Bottle of Bones Speed cream (Substitutes are any thinly based oil like typewriter fluid)

2. First you need to clean the bearings, after taking off the shields on your bearings fill the Small tub with warm water and mix in the fairy liquid.

3. Lay out a couple of sheets of Kitchen roll to the side of the tub and plug in the hairdryer and place that near the tissue.

4. Put the bearing and the now unattached shield into the water and scrub them both like hell with the toothbrush.

5. When your satisfied that its clean take it out and put it onto the kitchen roll and quickly dab the water off best you can, then take the bearing and shield off the kitchen roll and place it on the table. Blast with the hairdryer until bone dry (Be careful gets very very hot!!!!)

6. Put in two drops of the lube in opposite sides of the bearing and spin it between your fingers, replace the shield inside and spin it for about a minute.

7. Repeat for other bearings.
