How To No Comply Bigflip
It will really help if you learn 180 no comply’s first as you slightly modify the technique for this trick.
Stand in the same stance as the 180 no comply, but with your back foot closer to the trucks bolts and more toe side than you would normally, having the ball of your foot almost on the edge of the deck is ideal. Also have your back foot angled so the heel of your foot is slightly further back than the toes. Awkward as it sounds, it is important as your relying on getting this part right for both the flip and rotation of 360 degrees.
As with the 180 no comply, compress a little and lean over the front foot and slide it off. At this point, due to the position of your back foot the board is going to want to flip like a heelflip, make sure you swing your hip like you would for the 180 no comply and most importantly jump…if you don’t the board will come round and smash you in the shins…hard!
The trick to landing these is to stop it flipping and rotating with the back foot a split second before putting your front foot back on, however, whilst your learning these you may find it easier to put your front foot back on as the deck lands on the floor with your back foot on. This is fine as you are learning to flip, rotate and then catch it but once you can do that pretty consistent start jumping into them so you get both feet back on the board in the air.
The video shows the trick being done on a flatbank, which are relatively easy, however I would recommend learning them on flat ground first.
Good Luck!
